Mom & Me Garden Club
Mom & Me Garden Club: Growing Together
Join us for a weekly garden adventure designed for moms and little ones (ages 4 and under)! Our Mom & Me Garden Club meets every Friday morning from 10–11:30 a.m., offering a fun, nurturing space where you and your child(ren) can explore the wonders of nature together. In partnership with WellMama, we have one of their incredible Peer Support Specialists attend each class, creating a space for mothers to build community.
Each week, we’ll dive into new nature-themed adventures and activities, crafted to spark curiosity and creativity in your little one, from planting seeds and learning about soil to meeting our friendly farm animals—bunnies, chickens, geese, pigs, and goats! We’ll discover how to care for the land, the animals, and our planet, all while having fun. Expect hands-on crafts, educational materials, and a bounty of plants or potted treasures to take home. While moms connect in group discussions, our tots engage in sensory play to encourage curiosity and give little hands the chance to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
We believe financial barriers shouldn’t prevent families and students from accessing our programs. We encourage you to apply for Seeds of Success before enrolling and will send you a discount code if you are eligible.
Please review PLG AGREEMENTS & POLICIES before enrolling.

What to expect: We’ll begin each class under the shade of our hazelnut trees, giving kids a chance to settle in while moms connect. We’ll kick off with a good morning song and a quick check-in before embarking on the day’s adventure, which varies each week. All activities are hands-on with plenty of opportunities to explore. We’ll wrap up back where we started, enjoying a snack and time for moms to share experiences and build community.
For comfort and mobility, consider bringing a baby carrier, as wagons and strollers may not work on all terrain. We walk at a toddler’s pace! Classes are held rain or shine. We have a spacious hoop house for shelter, but we’ll also venture out in the rain. Please come dressed for the elements—boots, hats, rain gear, and sunscreen are great depending on the season. Don’t forget a healthy snack for you and your little one(s) to enjoy during our wind-down time.
Who can participate: Children birth to age 4 with their mom. We understand the title of “mom” may not resonate with everyone. This is the class for you if you are a parent who has given birth, who has breastfed or chestfed, or if you identify as a mom. We welcome trans moms and non-binary folx who identify with motherhood. As this is a community-building class, we ask that the same person attend each week. We have one Family Day a season; when other family members are invited to explore the farm with us.
Our students and families represent diverse communities with a wide range of learning styles, cultural backgrounds, abilities, and interests. We are committed to providing accommodations to ensure every student can succeed in their own way at our farm.
