Follow your curiosity & explore the wonders of the natural world through fun applied science, farm ecology, cultural practices & arts activities. Each summer camp theme includes farm animal care, free play & games, farm hikes & adventures, plant tending, food & drink preparation, and creative expression through nature crafts and visual or performing arts. Learn through:
Animal Science: Meet and care for goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and rabbits. Conduct animal-friendly experiments to explore how animals interact with their environments.
Fermentation & Culinary Science: Experiment with growing, preserving, preparing & cooking fresh foods. Make fermented foods like sourdough and cook with fire in our cob oven. Practice safe & essential fire skills, and learn the unique relationship between humans, fire and food.
Decomposition & Soil Science: Dig in the soil, play with worms, and discover the world beneath our feet. Record data and increase microbial activity with compost chores. Learn what makes healthy soil and how it supports all life.
Ethnobotany: Forage for medicinal plants and connect to cultural practices across the globe. Conduct experiments to study plant life cycles & natural phenomena. Uncover the healing properties of plants, creating teas, infusions, and more.
Water Science: Play in & with water while exploring aquatic ecosystems & species, build & observe watersheds, purify water, and complete conservation projects.
Naturalist Studies & Ecology: Study farm ecology by observing the land & wildlife, create a nature journal, track wild animals, identify bird calls, and conduct biodiversity studies.
Weather Science: Craft upcycled wind socks to monitor wind speed and direction. Go on a temperature hunt to find the hottest and coolest spots on the farm. Model precipitation & evaporation by creating the water cycle in a bag.
Two farm-fresh organic snacks will be provided per day like popcorn and fruit spreads with crackers. Campers should bring their own lunch and water bottle.
Registration steps:
Apply for a Seeds of Success scholarship before registering for camp. All families who need financial support are eligible to receive a scholarship until funds run out.
Review PLG AGREEMENTS & POLICIES with your child(ren) before enrolling.
Complete the 2026 summer camp enrollment form on the same day you register your child on our website.
Register for camp. Visit our policies page & select payment plans to learn how to split the camp cost into multiple payments. Select camp week(s) & theme. Add a code if you received a scholarship. Check out & pay for camp. Now your spot is confirmed!
